Hardik Pandya, KL Rahul suspended over comments on ‘Koffee with Karan’

The duration of the suspension is not yet known, but it is likely the pair will miss the remainder of the Australia tour and the upcoming limited-overs tour of New Zealand. The BCCI stated that both players had apologised, while Pandya also expressed remorse via his official Instagram account.

"You are aware that the enquiry and proceedings against you for misconduct and indiscipline have been initiated under Rule 41 of the BCCI Constitution and the same are presently pending", the show-cause notice, which ESPNcricinfo has accessed, read.

The programme, Koffee with Karan, is hosted by Bollywood producer and director Karan Johar who encourages guests to open up on personal matters.

Here are the now viral snippets from the episode which was a part of the third season of Koffee With Karan. "I'm little from the black side so I need to see how they move first", Pandya responded. "You are just watching, and observing how they move", Pandya said, describing himself.

Pandya had brazenly bragged about his prowess with women on the TV show. The two cricketers will now return home immediately even though the team management wanted them to stay back.

Long-running drama series Criminal Minds to end after 15 seasons
It has been successful not only on air but online, in syndication, internationally for ABC [Studios]'. The show follows the FBI's Behavioral Analysis Unit profiling criminals to predict their next move.

Both the players are facing flak for making "sexist, racist and misogynistic" comments on the show, which was aired last Sunday on Star World and Hotstar.

'Honestly, I got a bit carried away with the nature of the show. "I made an appearance on the chat show where I have made certain statements without realising that these could be disrespectful and offend sensitivities of viewers for which I am sincerely regretful", he wrote in his response, which is in PTI's possession.

"The two concerned players felt what has gone wrong and they have understood the magnitude". Virat Kohli on Friday said the Indian team doesn't align with the "inappropriate" views of the batsmen.

Kohli is yet to hear from India's board whether Pandya, a gun allrounder who is normally an automatic selection in India's one-day team, is free to play Saturday's SCG series opener. The series comes after India's historic Test series win Down Under - the country's first in 71 years.

".We definitely don't align with those views and those are purely individual views".
