Imran Khan bowled 'googly' and India sent 2 ministers: Pakistan minister

PM Imran says country's biggest issues is current account deficit

"Imran delivered a googly and India sent two ministers to Pakistan", he said, using a cricketing term.

India, which is observing the 10th anniversary of one of the worst terrorist attacks in the country, has been pushing Pakistan to bring to justice the planners of the 2008 Mumbai attacks.

Seventy-five-year-old Gurcharan Singh was just a child during Partition in 1947, when his family left their home in the city of Sialkot, in modern day Pakistan, to head to India. Imran Khan made it loud and clear that Pakistan wants to live in peace with India and that it will continue taking steps like these to ensure peace and stability in the region.

Khan, flanked by some of his federal ministers at the historic ceremony, addressed a large audience - which included diplomats, Indian ministers, and Sikhs - and stressed that "it would be insanity to think of a war between two countries with nuclear weapons".

He said earlier, the companies had established their assembling plants but the new joint venture would manufacture the multiple vehicles locally that would initially give jobs to 5,000 Pakistanis and the number would grow to 45,000 in future. "It will be really insane for both of them to even think about going to war", the Pakistani leader warned.

He also said that India refused to engage even after the letter written by Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan to his Indian counterpart Prime Minister Narendra Modi to resume bilateral talks.

Trump Rallies in MS for Embattled Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith
Donald Trump praised Ms Hyde-Smith as he headed to Mississippi to lead two rallies for the senator. "I resigned the contract". Her campaign later said the comment was a joke and the video had been "selectively altered", the Washington Post reported .

The "Kartarpur corridor" will however lead from the Indian border straight to the gurdwara, with the sides fenced off.

The inauguration of the corridor on the Indian side took place Monday and Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan is scheduled to inaugurate construction at the Pakistani end later today. Swaraj, however, was unable to travel to Kartarpur Sahib due to prior commitments.

He said the move was an effort by the Indian government to please the Sikh community ahead of next year's general elections. "One fails to understand why allowing people pilgrimage to Guru Nanak Dev ji's birth place would assume such undertones".

Indian External Affairs Ministers Sushma Swaraj and her Pakistani counterpart Shah Mehmood Qureshi were set to meet on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in NY, that could have marked the first thaw in bilateral ties that have steadily deteriorated.

Pakistan denies supporting militants targeting Indian forces in Kashmir and in return accuses India of supporting separatist movements within Pakistan.

Chawla posted the snap on his Facebook page, where he is seen standing next to Sidhu during the latter's visit to Pakistan for the ground-breaking ceremony of the Kartarpur corridor.
