Melania Trump’s Blood-Red Christmas Trees At White House Set Internet On Fire

Melania Trump fires back at critics of her nightmarish red Christmas trees: ‘I think they look fantastic’

President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump participated in the 96th National Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony on the Ellipse outside the White House on Wednesday, with the White House grounds fully decked out for the holidays.

US first lady Melania Trump spoke to thousands of Liberty University students gathered at convocation on Wednesday to share her "Be Best" initiative on the opioid crisis that "has truly taken a hold of our country", encouraging students to change the world.

"Talking about opioids and getting the message out, and what is the media... hung up on with the first lady now?"

Trump's appearance at Liberty University was to share her "Be Best" initiative while encouraging the students to make a difference in the world in fighting against the opioid crisis by raising awareness and removing the stigma.

"I hope everybody will come over and visit it", she said. "Thank you to the many volunteers and staff who worked hard to decorate the halls of the People's House in Christmas cheer".

But the event was aimed mostly at discussing the U.S. opioid epidemic and she said she had taught her son "what is right, what is wrong". In real life, they look even more handsome.

Ivanka Trump says 'Lock her up!' doesn't apply in her case
But the controversy has picked up in the interest of Outgoing House Oversight Committee chair Rep. Said Trump: "People who want to see it as the same see it as the same".

On Monday, the first lady posted a video on Twitter showing how the White House has been decorated this festive season.

Outside the White House, another Christmas tree was causing less controversy.

Bolling also asked about Trump's campaign against cyber-bullying and how she oversees Barron's social media use as a parent. "I teach him to be responsible and treat people with respect and kindness, and that's very important for me".

Almost 48,000 people in the United States died as a result of overdoses involving opioids previous year.

One part of the first lady's "Be Best" initiative is about fighting opioid abuse. She stressed the importance of getting rid of the stigma associated with opioid or other substance addiction. "About a pound of fentanyl can cause 150,000 deaths".
